I was told that you should avoid using pins or needles to drain out the contents of the bump. Doing so you will not only increase the risk of an infection, but also the chance of getting a permanent scar by damaging the skin tissue. So it is better to let the blind pimple form a natural outlet in due course of time.
When I was younger, my mother told me to soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and rub it gently on the blind pimple to help form a head. Once the blind pimple forms a head, it will drain out easily in due time.

I recently had a blind pimple and I looked up online what to do about it. A number of sites told me to put HAND SANITIZER on it, so I figured I would try it out. 3 days later, the pimple is completely unnoticeable and cleared up.
